What gets deleted
- Your account: closed, so it can no longer be signed in to.
- Sign-in details: the email addresses and identifiers linked to your account are erased. The email can be used to register again.
- Your profile: your username is removed, so other users can no longer find you.
- Sessions: every device signed in to your account is signed out.
What we keep, and why
- Transaction records: kept for as long as financial regulations require, then deleted.
- Security and audit logs: a record that the account existed and was deleted, kept to prevent fraud and meet legal duties.
- Your username: stays reserved and is never given to anyone else, so payments meant for you cannot reach a stranger.
Read the Privacy Policy for how we handle the data we keep.
Before you delete
- Move any remaining balance out of your wallet first. Once the account is closed you cannot sign in to reach it.
- Deletion cannot be undone.
